These sessions are designed to help all users, but especially support staff, admin and paraplanner leverage the power of Copilot.  This training is focused on the use of the free Copilot Chat application that is included within the Office365 subscription that you currently have.

Highlights include summarizing and comparing wills, analyzing shares for tax benefits, and writing Excel formulas using Copilot.

 

Through detailed case studies, the presenter showcases Copilot's ability to read scanned documents, create graphs, and help with document formatting and drafting.

 

This session also covers advanced uses, such as analyzing discrepancies in legal documents and training on Excel functionalities like pivot tables. Interactive components allow attendees to share their experiences and queries about using Copilot. The session concludes with a Q&A and a brief note on potential future uses of Copilot for tasks like creating images.

Unlocking Productivity with Microsoft Copilot​​​

This Microsoft Copilot training session for financial advisors focused on creating custom prompts to improve AI responses. Three key prompt types were demonstrated: financial advisor assistant, customer service agent, and compliance manager. Participants learned to upload meeting transcripts for automated summaries, analyze client emails, and perform compliance checks.

 

The session emphasized data security within Office 365 environments and using AI as a hybrid tool rather than replacement. Participants reported time savings of 15 minutes to 1 hour per task. Advanced features included screenshot-to-text conversion and cloud file integration, with future sessions planned to explore additional capabilities.

Enhancing Productivity and Creativity with Microsoft Copilot​​​​​

Dean introduced Microsoft Copilot, an AI assistant integrating ChatGPT with Microsoft's robust security framework for protected business use. Copilot enhances workplace effectiveness by automating routine tasks and allowing focus on higher-value work.

Key benefits include improved productivity, enhanced creativity through AI-generated suggestions, and streamlined efficiency.

 

Dean demonstrated practical applications: drafting emails, analyzing documents, conducting investment research, and creating Excel formulas.

 

While emphasizing ethical usage and accountability for AI-generated content, Dean explained that access varies by Microsoft 365 license type. Six upcoming training sessions were announced, with resources becoming available on the Wealth Network website.
